Internal Customization Guide
This guide helps your team adapt the template for any new vacancy in under 30 minutes. Follow each section to maintain brand consistency and SEO performance.
01
Job Title & SEO
Use the exact title candidates search for on LinkedIn/InfoJobs.
List only truly required skills. Every extra requirement reduces diversity by ~10%.
Always include the DEI statement (sidebar).
03
Skills Section
Cap required hard skills at 6–8. More feels intimidating.
Clearly separate «required» vs «nice to have».
Include at least 3 soft skills — often decisive for culture fit.
Mention experience in years as a range, not a minimum.
04
Salary & Conditions
Always display a salary range — listings with salary get 3× more applications. Include all benefits; candidates weigh them heavily.
Mention modality (on-site / hybrid / remote) prominently — it’s the #1 filter on major portals.
05
Selection Process
Transparency builds trust. Listing the exact steps reduces drop-off. Cap total process at 4–5 steps and commit to a timeline. Always mention feedback regardless of outcome.
The template follows the information hierarchy validated by LinkedIn, InfoJobs, and Tecnoempleo: role → responsibilities → requirements → conditions → process. Eye-tracking studies show candidates scan for salary and modality first, so both appear in the hero. Requirements come after responsibilities to frame context before demands.
Register: professional English
Professional English is the lingua franca of international tech recruitment. We use active voice, second-person address («you will») and moderate formality — warm but credible. We avoid overly corporate jargon to attract international talent, and we mirror the tone of top-rated LinkedIn job posts in the sector.
SEO rationale
Job title keywords appear in the H1, meta description, and page title tag. Location and modality are indexed fields on all major portals. Salary ranges increase click-through rate by up to 300% and are now required by LinkedIn’s algorithm for top placement.
Inclusion by design
Gender-neutral language throughout (validated with Textio analysis methodology). Required skills capped at 8 — research shows each extra requirement disproportionately deters women and underrepresented groups. The DEI statement is placed in the sidebar to be visible before the application button.
Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Semantic HTML5 landmarks, ARIA labels, and roles throughout. Colour contrast ratios exceed 4.5:1 for all body text. The template is keyboard-navigable and tested for screen-reader compatibility with VoiceOver and NVDA.
Reader intent
The candidate is seeking quick answers to: «Is this role right for me?» and «Can I afford to apply?». Information density decreases top-to-bottom. Critical info (title, location, salary) takes under 5 seconds to read in the hero. Deep details (process, benefits) are below the fold for motivated readers.
